Mrs. S. J. Beebe Taken by Death

Mrs. Myra Beebe, wife of Stuart J. Beebe, 300 South Sixteenth street, president of the Richmond Glove corporation, died Sunday night at a Milwaukee, Wis., hospital after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Beebe was taken ill while she and her husband were spending some time at Hot Springs, Ark.

Survivors are the husband; one son, Stuart J. Beebe, jr.; a granddaughter, all of this city, and her mother, Mrs. Ruth Miller, Toledo, Ohio. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, Forest Hills Country club, and the Woman's club.

The body will be returned to Richmond Monday night. Funeral arrangements are not completed pending the arrival of Mr. Beebe and his son from Milwaukee.

STUART BEEBE

RICHMOND — Funeral services were held Monday for Stuart J. Beebe, Sr., former owner of the Richmond Glove Corporation, who died Friday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Burial in Earlham Cemetery.

Mr. Beebe, who resided at 400 South Sixteenth Street, left here about three years ago to make his home in Corsicana, Tex., with his son, who operated a glove factory there.

He came here in 1910 from Eaton, where he managed a branch factory for the Indianapolis Glove Company. He served as a branch manager for the company's local plant until 1914 when he and several other local men organized the Beebe Glove Company.
