FRANCIS A. BUTTREY, II, BRIDE TO HONEYMOON IN JAMAICA
Francis A. Buttrey, II, and his bride, the former Marilyn Ashley, left on a plane trip to Miami, Fla., and Jamaica where they will spend their honeymoon. Mr. and Mrs. Buttrey were married Friday at St. Stephen's church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Ashley, 4613 Wooddale avenue, Edina, and the grrom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Buttrey, 4618 Moorland avenue, Edina.
Jane Perlich was maid of honor and Mrs. James Otness (Mary Jane Buttrey), International Falls, Minn., sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Joyce Anderson and Gerry Gridley, Minneapolis, were bridesmaids.
Harry E. Buttrey was his son's best man. George Benson, Roderick Drews and Thomas Hartzell were ushers. A reception followed at Minikahda club.

MARILYN A. BURNS
May 24, 1925-July 16, 2001
Marilyn A. Burns, 76, of La Mesa died Monday. She was born in Minneapolis and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Republican Women's Auxiliary and was a volunteer at Grossmont Hospital for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Burns; sons, Lee Holm of Eden Prairie, Minn., Lawrence Buttrey of Anoka, Minn., Michael Burns and Robert Burns of Salt Lake City; Donald Burns of Saudi Arabia and Andrew Burns of Santa Clara; and nine grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Sunday, Erickson-Anderson Chapel, 8390 Allison Ave., La Mesa.
