Rev. Kenneth Ball and Miss Hilda Miller, of Indianapolis were married Wednesday evening at the Christian church at 7:30 by Rev. L. C. Howe, the single ring ceremony being said. Only a few relatives from Indianapolis accompanied them here for the ceremony. Rev. Ball closed his services at the Daleville and Mt. Summit churches Sunday and will begin his new pastorate at the Andrews church in Huntington county next week, where he and his bride went immediately after the ceremony to make their home. Rev. Ball has been pastor of the Morgantown and Paragon churches. Rev. Howe who officiated at the wedding ordained Rev. Ball when he entered the ministry.

The congregation of the Ninth street Christian Church voted unanimously on the application of Rev. Kenneth Ball, of Minneapolis, Minn., for the pastorate of the church at a special session Sunday morning.
A telegram of acceptance was expected from Rev. Ball today. Wayne Myers, chairman of the church board, said this morning.
The vacancy was created by the resignation of the Rev. H. R. Hosler, now minister of the Glen Park Christian church in Gary, Indiana.
The application, which the church board recently approved unanimously, was presented to the congregation by Myers.
Rev. Ball, who is 40 years old, is presently the pastor of the Lake Herriot Christian church, Minneapolis, where he has been for two years.
During the war, he served as a chaplain in the Army Air Forces for three years and was discharged with the rank of captain.
He started his ministry work at Andrews, Indiana. He and his wife are natives of Indianapolis, where both graduated from Butler University.
Mrs. Ball is an organist and choir director and is active in church affairs. They have no children.

The Rev. Kenneth Ball, 46, former pastor of the local Ninth street Christian church, and his wife, Hilda, 46, are in Methodist hospital, Indianapolis, recovering from injuries sustained Saturday in an auto collision on highway 421 at Waugh, 20 miles north of Indianapolis, as they were enroute to Logansport.
Reverand Ball, who was knocked unconcious by the collision, is suffering from fractures of his right shoulder and collar bone, a head injury, and a punctured left leg. His condition was at first considered serious, but he is now reported improving.
Mrs. Ball has a fracture of her right hand, scalp cuts, bruises and abrasions.
Both Reverend and Mrs. Ball were thrown from their 1951 model sedan by the impact, and Mrs. Ball rolled 40 feet down the highway.
The Frankfort couple in the other car was taken to the Clinton county hospital at Frankfort. The man had chest injuries and the woman suffered a broken jaw, it was reported.
Reverend Ball was headed north when another car pulled out in front of him from the west side of the road, it was reported. To avoid colliding with it he swerved and his car was struck broadside by the southbound Frankfort auto, according to information received by Mrs. Ball's twin sister, Mrs. John Edmonds, Indianapolis. Both vehicles were demolished.
The Balls were taken to the Indianapolis hospital in a Lebanon ambulance. She is expected to remain in the hospital the rest of the week. How long Reverend Ball must remain in the hospital has not yet been determined. He will be in a cast six weeks.
The Balls have resided at 5838 College avenue, Indianapolis, since leaving Logansport. They were coming here to see about the removal of their furniture from the local parsonage when the accident occurred.

Rev. Kenneth W. Ball, 54, former pastor of the Ninth Street Christian church, died at 2:30 this afternoon in the Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Death followed a heart attack at 11 o'clock this morning. Rev. Ball was pastor of the Moravian church in Kernersville, North Carolina.
Rev. Ball was born in Mooresville, Ind. and at an early age moved to Indianapolis where he received his education. He held B.A., B.D., and M.A. degrees from Butler University and was ordained in the Christian ministry in Indianapolis. He held pastorates in Christian churches in Indiana, Virginia, Mississippi, and Minneapolis, Minn. He served five years as pastor of the Ninth Street Christian Church leaving in 1953. For three years he was with the Wells organization, church fund raisers, serving as regional manager for North and South Carolina. He served as assistant pastor at the Moravian "Little Church on the Lane" in Charlotte, N.C., and was ordained in the Moravian ministry on Sept. 16, 1957. On October 6 of the same year he was installed as pastor of the Moravian church in Kernersville, North Carolina.
Rev. Ball served three years as a chaplain in the U. S. Air Force and held the rank of Major in the Air Force Reserve. On Sept. 16, 1936, in Indianapolis he was married to Hilda Cynthla Miller, of Indianapolis. Mrs. Ball is now a patient in the hospital in which her husband died, suffering from a fractured leg which she received in a fall two weeks ago.
Funeral services and burial will be in Kernersville. Word of Rev. Ball's death was received by Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ringle 1911 George. Mr. and Mrs. Ringle's son and daughter-in-law Rev. and Mrs. Eldon Ringle of Spartansburg, Ind., have gone to Kernersville to attend the services.

Mrs. Hilda Miller Ball, sister of Mrs. Hazel Edmonds of Gastonia, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home in Washaw.
She was the widow of the Rev. Kenneth W. Ball.
Born April 9, 1907 in Indianapolis, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Everett H. and Eva Mikels Miller. She was a graduate of Butler University, Indianapolis, and she taught music and art.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Moravian Little Church on the Lane, Charlotte, where she was a member. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Moravian Church graveyard, Kernersville.
The family will receive friends tonight, 6 to 8:20, at Harry and Bryant Chapel in the Oaks.
