Quietly solemnized in the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Edward A. Sparks, was the marriage of Miss Linnae F. Anderson and Mr. Cecil F. Barnum of Bellingham. Rev. Luther Cornay of the First Lutheran church, with which the family is connected, read the service Sunday afternoon, January 16. The only attendants of the couple were Mrs. Sparks and son, Mr. Donald Anderson.

Mr. and Mrs. Barnum departed on an extended motor trip to California. Mrs. Barnum graduated from Whatcom high school and has recently been employed at the Union Trust company. Mr. Barnum is a graduate of Fairhaven high school.

Linnae Florann Watson

No services are planned for Linnae Florann Watson, who died Thursday at a Watsonville convalescent home. She was 89.

Born in Minnesota, Mrs Watson lived in Watsonville for the past 26 years.

She worked as a secretary for the Register Pajaronian newspaper and retired in 1990.

She is survived by grandchildren Lorraine Payne of Novato and Yvonne Johnson of Fairfield

A private ceremony will be held at Soquel Cemetery, Soquel. Davis Memorial Chapel in Watsonville is handling arrangements.
