The marriage of Miss Charlotte Freeman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren D. Freeman, and Vincent Joseph Beyer took place today against a background of white chrysanthemums and candelabra in SS. Peter and Paul cathedral. Msgr. Raymond Noll performed the ceremony and the Rev. Cornelius Sweeney assisted. Miss Helen Shephard played the organ and Carl Lauber sang.
Miss Freeman, who entered with her father, wore a white gown of brocaded taffeta with a scalloped shoulder yoke, fitted basque, long tapered sleeves and a full skirt that gathered into a train. A tiara of seed pearls held a fingertip illusion veil. She carried a white prayer book topped with a white orchid.
Miss Virginia Freeman, sister of the bride, was the only attendant. She wore a gown of pastel pink with a fitted satin basque, short sleeves and a bouffant net skirt. Her bouquet was of assorted pompons in shades of pink and lavender. Michael Beck was the best man. Warren C. Freeman and William D. Freeman, brothers of the bride, were ushers.
A reception was held at the home of the bride this afternoon after which the couple left on a wedding trip to New York. The bride traveled in a light blue wool suit with brown accessories and an orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Beyer will be at home in Indianapolis.
