Private Rites Scheduled for S. McGaw Jr.

MOORESTOWN — Samuel H. McGaw Jr., 76, retired superintendent of the Maple Shade Water Works, died Sunday in his home at 334 High St.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Lewis Funeral Home, Moorestown, will be private.

Mr. McGaw, who lived in Maple Shade for most of his life, was a member of Maple Shade's Independent Fire Company; VFW Post 2445 and the New Jersey Water Pollution Control Association. He was also a member of Universal Lodge 216, F&AM, of Camden; Collingswood Consistory; Crescent Temple Shrine of Trenton and the Burlington County Shrine Club.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy B.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy m. Parker, of Irwin, Pa. and Mrs. Belle M. Rexon, of Moorestown; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family has asked that contributions be sent to the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Moorestown.
