Jeannette Arnold We to Harold Boyer—Wedding Trip to New York

Miss Jeannette Alva Arnold, daughter of Mrs. J. Raymond Arnold, 1505 East Philadelphia street, and the late Mr. Arnold, became the bride of Harold Stiles Boyer, son of Mrs. Roy Boyer, 332 West Jackson street, and the late Mr. Boyer, at 3 p. m. Sunday in Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church, Hallam. The Rev. Richard E. Shaffer, performed the double ring ceremony in a setting of palms, candles and white flowers.

Given in marriage by her cousin, Richard Arnold, the bride wore a ballerina-length gown of white lace over satin, styled with a Queen Anne collar, scalloped net, yoke and long lace sleeves ending in points over the hands. The gown was scalloped at the bottom. Her fingertip veil of illusion net fell from a crown of orange blossoms. She carried a fan shaped bouquet of feverfew and stephanotis with an orchid center.

Marie Knorr, of Bridgeton, Pa., college roommate of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a ballerina-length gown of mint green net over taffeta, styled with a Queen Anne collar and cap sleeves. She had matching mitts and carried a fan-shaped bouquet of yellow iris and white daisies. She wore a matching band of flowers in her hair.

Leonard Boyer, of York, was best man for his brother. Ushers were Ralph Moyer, Pottstown, and William Brady of Pittsburgh, both fraternity brothers of the bridegroom.

Mrs. C. Eugene Beshore, York R. D. 1, sister of the bride, sang "The Lord's Prayer" (Malotte), "I Love Thee" (Grieg) and "At Dawning" (Cadman). Solos by Henry Arnold, Hellam R. D. 1, cousin of the bride, were "Through the Years" (Heyman-Youmans) and "For You Alone" (Diehl). The organist, "Mrs. Vivian Keesey, played "If I Could Tell You" (Firestone), "One Alone" (Romberg), "Romance" (Rubenstein), "My Heart at They Sweet Voice" (Saint-Seans), "Love Theme," from "Romeo and Juliet" (Tschaikowsky), "Meditation", "Love's Greeting" (Liszt), and during the ceremony "Traumerel" (Schumann), "Oh Perfect Love" (Barnby) and the traditional wedding marches.

Guests attended the wedding from Reading, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pa., and Massachusetts.

About 80 guests attended the reception in the church social room, after which the couple left on a wedding trip to New York city. They will be at home next week in their apartment at 36 Carver street, Bridgeport, Conn, where the bridegroom is employed by the General Electric Company.

The bride was graduated from the Moravian Seminary at Bethlehem in 1947 and received her bachelor of Science degree in home Economics this month from Pennsylvania State College.

Her husband, who was a 1945 graduate of William Penn Senior High School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in commerce and finance from Penn State in February. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
