Alice Brayton
MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa — Services for Alice L. Brayton, 80, Mount Pleasant, will be 1 p.m. SUnday at King-Lynk Funeral Home, Fort Madison. Visitation is noon until service time. Burial will be in Denmark Cemetery
Mrs. Brayton died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant.
Alice Simpson was born March 15, 1921, in Rushville, Ill. She married Floyd Brayton in 1939 in Fort Madison.
She was a former postmaster at Denmark Post Office 20 years.
A memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd; daughter, Debbie Thomsen, Bettendorf; son, Dennis F., Kirksville, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
