The wedding of Miss Dorothy Dreyfoos, daughter of Mrs. Sadie Dreyfoos, of Chicago, to Mr. Leon Davidson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davidson, of Sioux City, took place last evening at 5 o'clock. The ceremony took place in the home of Mr. Sidney Adler in Chicago before a company of forty relatives. The bride wore a gown of ivory satin, trimmed in pearls and orange blossoms, and a veil of rose point lace finished her costume. Following the wedding a reception was held in the Adler home, after which Mr. and Mrs. Davison departed for the east, where they will spend several weeks at an eastern winter resort. They will return to Sioux City in February and make their home here. Among the out of town guests who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davidson, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Davidson and Miss Moscelene Baldwin.

Two Davidson Brothers of Sioux City Purchase Full Control of Store

SIOUX CITY, Feb. 20. (AP)—Purchase by Leon and Frank Davidson of the half interest in the Davidson Brothers company owned by Lawrence L. and Herman F. Davidson was announced today. The deal was said to involve $2, 250,000.

The Davidson Brothers company operated the Davidson department store which was founded by the late Ben Davidson, father of the new owners. Leon Davidson has been chosen president and general manager and Frank Davidson, vice president and treasurer.

Leon Davidson

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. today for Leon Davidson, 47, an employee in the San Francisco office of the Office of Price Administration, in the Little Church of the Flowers, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Davidson died in San Francisco Monday. Besides his widow Dorothy, who lives at 701 N. Hillcrest Road, Beverly Hills, Davidson leaves three daughters, Helen, Mary and Jane. The funeral services will be in charge of Groman's Mortuary.

LEON DAVIDSON DIES SUDDENLY

Death came to Leon Davidson, 47, former president of Davidson Bros. Co., and elder son of the late Ben Davidson, suddenly Monday at San Francisco.

Mr. Davidson died in his sleep. He had been in seemingly good health, but due to heavy work with the office of federal price administration, where he was employed, it is believed he suffered a heart attack.

The funeral will be held at Beverly Hills, Cal., the family home. Interment will be in Los Angeles.

The news came to Lawrence Davidson, president of Davidson Bros. Co., a cousin, from Mrs. Leon Davidson.

Heads Department Store

Leon Davidson was born in Germany, April 14, 1895. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davidson (Ida Frank), his parents, were on a European trip at the time. THey returned to Sioux City when Leon was about 3 months old. He grew up here and attended the Sioux City schools, also schools in other cities.

About 1916 he entered the Davidson Bros. Co. business, which at that time was in charge of his father and his two uncles, Dave Davidson and Abe Davidson. Ben Davidson died in 1927. Dave Davidson succeeded him as president and died in 1931. On the death of Dave Davidson, Leon Davidson became president and held that office about two years.

Moves to California

About 1933 or 1934 Leon Davidson and his brother, Frank Davidson, opened the Bends store at Fifth and Pierce streets. About 1935 they moved to Los Angeles and opened a resident buying office. Frank Davidson now is a captain in the army air corps and is stationed at Albuquerque, N. M.

Survivors also include two sisters, Tess and Edith. THe former is the wife of Count Aldo de Zuliani. They live in Venice, Italy. The latter is Mrs. Paul Segnetz. They live in New York City.

Leon Davidson married Dorothy Dreyfoos of Chicago about 1918. She and three daughters survive him. The daughters are Helen, 21; Mary, 20; Jane, 16.

Other Sioux City relatives besides Lawrence Davidson are Abe Davidson, uncle, and Herman Davidson, Mrs. Tom Bolton, Maj. Lester Davidson, and Mrs. Herman Slotsky, cousins.

Mrs. Bertie Frank Baldwin of Detroit is an aunt, and Charles Baldwin, jr. her son, a cousin. Herman Levy, former manager of the Orpheum theater here, now of Omaha, is a cousin.
