Jack Clair Weds Helen Engledow

Mrs. Minnie H. Doelker of Palo Cedro and family returned Friday after attending the wedding of her son, Jack Whitey Clair, and Miss Helen Catherine Engledow. The nuptials were solemnized by the Rev. Contnaires in Garvey Assembly of God Church, March 7, at 3 p. m.

The bride, daughter of Mrs. Florence Engledow of Wilmar, was attired in a white suit with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations and orchids. She was given in marriage by Burris F. Engledow.

Mrs. John Henry, matron of honor, wore an aqua gown with a corsage of Talisman roses. Albert H. Doelker was best man. Preceding the ceremony, John Tildon Dingerman sang "Always" and "O Promise Me," accompanied by Mildred Gerick, organist.

Seventy-eight persons witnessed the rites and attended a reception which followed. The church was decorated with white carnation, white stock and snapdragons.

After a honeymoon at Palm Springs, the newlyweds will live in Wilmar. THe bridegroom, who attended Shasta union high school and has been working in San Gabriel, served in the army air forces for 3 years, spending 18 months in the European theater.
