[unreadable] announce the engagement of their daughter Janice Ellen, to James F. Field Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Field of 12 Bertram st, Beverly, Mass, formerly of this city.

Miss Duran graduated from Beverly High school, class of 1948 and also attended Endicott Junior College.

Mr. Field graduated from Nashua High School, class of 1945 before attending Northeastern University.

Both young people are employed at Reid Brothers company, Inc, in Beverly.

JAMES F. FIELD JR.

James F. Field jr, husband of Janice (Duran) Field, died last evening at his home, 10 Oakhurst rd, Beverly, Mass, at the age of 27. Mr Field was born in Nashua Oct 27, 1927, the son of James F. and Marion (Classon) Field.

He was a designing engineer employed at Reid Brothers in Beverly and he was an attendant of St. Mary's church.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, James F. Field III; his father and mother; and a brother, Leonard C. Field, all of Beverly.

Funeral service will be held from the Lee and Moody funeral home, 3 Dane st, Beverly, Thursday morning at 8 o'clock, followed by a Solemn High Mass at St Mary's church at 9 o'clock.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home at their convenience.

Janice E. (Duran) Dunn

Peabody - Janice E. Dunn, of Peabody, formerly of Beverly, died on April 7, 2018, at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of the late James F. Field and Robert J. Dunn.

Born in Beverly in 1930, she was the daughter of the late John A. Duran and Catherine Collins of Beverly. She grew up in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School, class of 1948, and attended Endicott College.

She enjoyed traveling and had been to places like Hawaii, Fiji, and Egypt. She loved going to yard sales, shopping for a bargain, and spending time with the family.

She is survived by her son James F. Field III and his wife Patricia of Beverly; three grandchildren, Jason Field and wife Katy of Beverly, Kelly Macdonald and husband Scott of Georgetown, and James P. Field of Beverly. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Connor, Molly, Grady, and William. She is predeceased by her brother John Duran.

Janice's funeral service which will be held Thursday, April 12, at 1 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior from 12 to 1 p.m. Contributions can be made in her memory to the Care Dimensions Hospice House.
