MRS JOHN GARST DIES IN SOMERSET

Suffered Paralytic Stroke Six Weeks Ago; Funeral Sunday A. M. At Somerset Church

Mrs. John Garst, 72, died Thursday night at her home in Somerset following a six weeks' illness of paralysis.

Mrs. Garst was Lydia Shambaugh, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Shambaugh and was born in Dark County, Ohio, in 1850. Her marriage to John Garst took place about 50 years ago. Her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Ora Kessler, survive. One child died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 at the Somerset Christian church, Rev. Lytle officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon cemetery.
