Mr. and Mrs. Edgar A. Grabhorn will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today in their home.
It will also be a homecoming for their three sons, Col. Edgar A. Grabhorn Jr. of Conrord, Mass., Donald Grabhorn of Houston, Tex., and Gordon Grabhorn of Bradford, R.I. and their two daughters Mrs. Carolyn Orr of Redlands, Califo., and Mrs. Judith Goodman of Greenfield. There are 20 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Grabhorn retired eight years ago from The Indianapolis Star and The Indianapolis News.

Edgar A. Grabhorn Sr., 85, Greenfield, died Friday at Hancock Memorial Hospital.
Born in Tell City, Oct 21, 1900, he was the son of George and Emma (Hermann) Grabhorn. He retired as a printer in 1965.
Survivors include five children, Edgar A. Grabhorn, Jr., Concord. Mass., Carolyn Mae Orr, Philadelphia, Ind., Donald A. Grabhorn, Houston, Texas, Gordon A. Grabhorn, New Orleans, I,a., and. Judith Meyers, Greenfield; a brother, Ivan Grabhorn, San Antonio, Texas; and a sister, Vi Schumaker, Indianapolis.
Hendryx Mortuaries Cumberland Chapel is assisting in arrangements. Memorial services will be at a later date.

Wilma "Billie" (Wilkins) Grabhorn, 90, Philadelphia, died Saturday at Hancock Memorial Hospital.
Born March 26, 1904, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of William and Mae (McOuat) Wilkins.
Mrs. Grabhorn was a private art teacher in Hancock County and was formerly employed with the Finance Center and was a teller with Indiana National Bank. She was a member of the Hesperian Club of Hancock County and Psi Iota Sorority. She had taught first kindergarten for New Palestine Schools and was active in PTA activities in the New Palestine schools.
Survivors include sons Edgar A. Grabhorn Jr., Massachusetts, Donald A. Grabhorn, Texas, and Gordon Grabhorn, Arkansas; daughters Judith Meyer and Carolyn Orr, both of Greenfield; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by husband Edgar A. Grabhorn; and brothers Frank and Walter Wilkins.
Memorial service for Mr. and Mrs. Grabhorn will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Pasco Memorial Mortuary.
