Will and Probate for Harriet Hall

And the said last Will and Testament of Harriet Irvin deceased reads as follow to wit:

In the name of God Amen, I, Harriet Irvin of the County of Knox and State of Indiana do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made. First, I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my situtation in life. As to such Wordly goods and estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with, I dispose of the same in the following manner to wit: First I direct that my Executor shall take possession, and proceed to collect, all my notes, bills, bonds and accounts now in the hands of my Brother, Daniel D. Hall, and that he will proceed to collect the same with as little delay as possible, and that the proceeds of the same together with the proceeds of the corn raised on my place last season, which said place I sold to Daniel D. Hall my Brother be first applied to the payment of my just debts and should there be remaining in the hands of my Exeuctor (after paying my debts as aforesaid) the sum of one hundred dollars I direct and request that the same be paid to my nephew Witefield Hall, when he becomes of age to wit twenty years old. I direct that my Executor shall immediately deliver to my niece Harriet Hall one bed and bedding for the same and also one bed and bedding for the same to my Sister Abigal Hall, to their own proper use and disposal. I direct and request that so soon as my brother Daniel D. Hall shall pay the note for three hundred dollars which I hold against him, that my Executor pay the same to my niece Maria F. H. Scott, of Vincenes, provided however that there shall be sufficient independent of that amount in the hands of my Executor to pay the one hundred dollars aforesaid to my nephew Whitefield Hall when he shall be twenty one years of age. I direct and request that my nephew Collumbus Horner of Iowa shall have the entire disposal and perfect control to his own proper use and behoof forever all my real estate in the Town of West Lebanon Warren County Indiana and that he have power hereby to convey the same in fee simple or otherwise. Provided however that Sally Vandever shall continue to have the disposal and control of the property which she now has. And I hereby make, and ordain my worthy and esteemed friend Dr. Jas H. Buell of Williamsport, Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I, Harriet Irvin, the Testator have hereto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six.
