HANEY, Robert Earl
age 83, of Laura, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare in Troy. He is preceded in death by his father Louis Earl Haney, mother Minnie (Barnes) Haney, brother Ralph Haney, and his sisters Evelyn Smith & Helen Fryman. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Betty Jean (Furlong) Haney-Laura, son & daughter-in-law Larry & Jacqui Haney-Covington, daughters & sons-in-law Darlene & Larry Hatfield-John Day, OR, Jacqueline & Robert Smith-West Milton, OH, & Vickie & Chris Hicks-West Manchester, OH, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and his sister Ruth Spitler-Troy. He attended the Highland Brethren in Christ Church. He retired from N.Y. Central Railroad, N.C.R. & G.M. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton, OH, with Rev. Jon Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Riversdie Cemetery, West Milton. Friends may call on Friday at Hale-Sarver from 4-7 P.M. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
