He married MATTIE A. REED on March 19, 1882 in Crawford County, Kansas.⁴⁶⁹⁴ She was born in December, 1859 in Iowa,¹¹²⁸⁴ and died April 22, 1916 in Santa Clara County, California.³⁸⁹³ She is buried in Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, Santa Clara, California.¹¹²⁸⁴

HUSTON—In San Jose, Cal., April 22, 1916, Mattie A., wife of A. T. Huston, a native of Iowa, aged 55 years. A member of the Independent Order of Foresters, No. 1122.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10:30 a. m. from the parlors of the San Jose Undertaking company, 276 South Second street. Interment Oak Hill cemetery.
