Truck Driver Taken by Death

Willis L. Jackson, 44, of 1529 W. Douglas, died Thursday morning at Osteopathic Hospital. He was a truck driver for Hellum's Furniture Co.

Born April 25, 1918, at Penokee, Kan., he had been a Wichita resident since 1944. Prior to that he had resided at Oakley, Kan. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church here.

Survivors are his widow, Berniece, and a son, Aaron, both of the home; his mother, Mrs. Frances Allen, of 1703 S. Dodge; and two brothers, James E. Jackson, of Derby, Colo., and Harold D. Jackson, of Aurora, Colo.

Funeral services will be at St. Joseph's Church at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Ralph Michaels officiating. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Culbertson Mortuary. Burial will be at Hoxie, Kan., on Tuesday.
