She was born August 7, 1856 in Indiana,⁴⁹³¹ and died October 8, 1916 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana.⁴⁹³¹ She is buried in Earlham Cemetery, Richmond, Wayne, Indiana.^{89, 4931}

MRS. EVA KERN.

Mrs. Eva Kern, wife of Joseph Kern, formerly of Richmond, died in Indianapolis, early Sunday morning. The body will be brough here for burial, arriving at 4:50 o'clock this afternoon and will be taken to the homeof Mrs. Charles Holcomb, 38 South Tenth street where friends may call any time. Funeral sevices will be held at the Holcomb home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Dr. Brown of St. Paul's church of Indianapolis will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham cemetery. It is requested by the family that no flowers be sent.

Clothing Salesman Dies

Joseph C. Kern, age seventy-one, for twenty-six years connected with the Kahn Tailoring Company as a retail salesman, died at his home, 1701 Central avenue, early Thursday. The body will be taken to Richmond, where funeral services will be held Saturday. Burial will be at Richmond. The widow, Mrs. Anna Kern, is the sole survivor.
