MANHATTAN YOUNG MAN TAKES BRIDE

MANHATTAN, Aug. 31. — (Special)—Friends here have received cards announcing the marriage of Lewis Thomas Kiser jr., and Miss Muriel Houston at the home of bride's mother, Mrs. William James Rehrig at Beverly Hills, Calif., on Saturday, August 24.

The groom is a native of Manhattan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Kiser, who resided here for many years before moving to Ashton, Idaho.

Lewis Kiser, Longtime Resident of South Pasadena, Dies at 71

Services for Lewis Kiser were held Wednesday, Nov. 18, at St. James Church. He was 71.

Mr. Kiser, born Jan. 4, 1916 in Manhattan, Mont., died Nov. 13 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.

He and his wife Muriel moved to South Pasadena in 1948 where they made their home and raised their children Terry and Cynthia.

Mr. Kiser was an active supporter of Little League and high school sports and had many friends in this city.

He is survived by his wife, Muriel; a son, Terry and his wife Roma; and by a daughter, Cynthia, and her husband, Mark Strople. Other survivors include his grandchildren Lee, Kevin, Shawn and Cory Kiser, and Jennifer and Bryan Strople.
