William was a bricklayer and resided in Ipswich. He was a member of the 1st Church of Christ (Congregational) and made a freeman in 1641/1642. He was given a commonage with pasturage for 1 cow and a share in Plum Island. On 12/12/1643, he conveyed to Ed Bragg of Ipswich a house and lot which he had purchased of John Andrews. He died in 1655. If his widow was Ann Elizabeth, she was living in 1668.
