Hanover
Rufus H. W. Kopp, 72, of Hanover, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at the Hanover Hospital.
Born May 6, 1928, in Hanover, he was the son of the late Ervin A. and Phoebe A. (Chronister) Kopp.
He was a member of Good News Freedom Independent Church, Hanover, and Spring Grove, VFW, Post 5265. He retired from P.H. Gladfelter Co. after 31 years. He was a member of the Gladfelter Quarter Century Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna K. Ferguson of Hanover, and Cathy L. Monn of East Berlin; four sons, John E. Kopp, and Randy L. Kopp, all of Hanover; two brothers, Raymond W. Kopp of Brodbecks, and Norman Kopp of Colorado; one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Following cremation, a private funeral service will [be] held at the convenience of the family.
The Kenworthy Funeral Home Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, is in charge of the arrangements.
