He died Nov. 25.
An educator 40 years, he was a teacher and principal for Indianapolis Public Schools, retiring in 1986. He retired as principal of School 56 and previously was principal at Schools 12 and 46.
He had been national editor of the Magic Symbol and served as national direction in 1989-90 of the Society f Young Magicians. He also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians.
Mr. Langell was an Army veteran of World War II and received two Bronze Stars.
He was a graduate of Butler University.
