The wedding of Miss Sarah Jane Niederkorn and Mr. Donald T. Law of Deming was solemnized Sunday morning, May 31, 1942, at 8:30 o'clock at the First Methodist Church in Silver City, in the presence of immediate relatives and close friends of the bride and groom, the Rev. McAlester officiating. The bridal couple was attended by Miss Birdie Shapley of Deming as bridesmaid, and Earl B. Law, father of the groom, as the best man. The bride, a lovely brunette, was attired in a gown of aqua, with white accessories. She wore a corsage of pink roses and carried a prayer book with shower of sweetheart roses. For something old and borrowed she wore a string of seed pearls belonging to the mother of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Niederkorn of Deming and has lived here for the past two years where she is a popular member of the younger set. She is a graduate of Los Cruces High School and attended New Mexico State College at Las Cruces where she pledged Zeta Tau sorority. Until recently she has been employed in the offices of the General Chemical Company in Deming.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Law of Deming and is associated with his father in the produce business. He is a graduate of Deming High School where he was active in athletics, and later attended the University of Arizona at Tucson and the New Mexico State College. He is a member of Alpha Tau Omega and holds a commission of Second Lieutenant in the R. O. T. C.
Following a wedding breakfast at the Murray Hotel the happy couple left for a honeymoon trip to northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. While in Colorado they will visit Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Shapley, Jr., of Salida. On their return they will reside at the Shapley home east of Deming until the groom receives his appointment for active duty at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church for Donald T. Law, 50, 400 W. Ethel, who died Friday in Ruidoso.
Mr. Law had been a resident of Las Cruces since 1947 and was president of E.B. Law and Son, Transportation. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Aztec Lodge No. 3, AF&AM, Las Cruces York Rite Bodies and the Ballut Abyad Shrine of Albuquerque.
Mr. Law was also the past president of the New Mexico Motorcarriers Association and was a state representative from Dona Ana County in 1951-52.
Services at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will be conducted by the Rev. Charles DeVries with burial to follow in the mausoleum of Hillcrest Cemetery.
Aztec Lodge No. 3 AF&AM will hold Masonic graveside services. Funeral arrangements are by Graham's Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be George Senger, Mark Thompson, Bryon Darden, Leigh Fletcher, Tom Cox and Sid Wells.
Mr. Law is survived by his wife, Sarah; a son, Barry, both of Las Cruces; a daughter, Donna Loudermilk, Tucson, Ariz.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Heart Fund.
