Edwin H. Weir
RANDOLPH — Edwin H. Weir, 82, was found dead in his mobile home Monday. He had died Friday according to the regional medical examiner, Dr. Ronald Gadway.
He was born Nov. 14, 1895, in Southington, Conn., son of Chester and Ellen (Brown) Weir.
He had worked at the Fyles and Rice veneer plant in Bethel and was later self-employed. He had spent most of his life in the Bethel and Randolph area.
The deceased was a veteran of World War I.
His wife, Edith, died several years ago.
His only immediate survivor is a sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert Weir, Bethel.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Day Funeral Home in Randolph. The Rev. Harold Lloyd Jr., minister of the United Church of Bethel, will officiate.
There are no calling hours.
Later burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Bethel.
