Randolph, Aug. 21.—Daniel D. Lusk, 83 years old, for many years a well known business man of this village, died at his home in Sebring, Fla., Friday, where funeral services were held Sunday.
Mr. Lusk came to Randolph when he was a young man and engaged in mercantile business, lumbering and farming. About 40 years ago he went to Orlando, Fla., to engage in orange growing and dealing in oranges. He gradually extended his business to other kinds of real estate and in 1914 went to Sebring, where he was one of the promoters of that city. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Lusk spent winters in Florida and summers in Randolph, but on account of Mr. Lusk's failing healthy they have resided permanently in Sebring the last eight years.
Mr. Lusk is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Gates Lusk, and two nephews, Dr. Norman Forbes of Olean and Arthur Forbes of Stanton, Neb.
Randolph Register, February 2, 19457453

Together they conducted a store in Randolph for many years Mr. and Mrs. Lusk built the block now occupied by the Randolph Feed and Supply store in Main Street; their home was in Jamestown street.
