I, John S. Lyle of the City of Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, do make and publish this my last will and testament.
1st It is my will that all my just debts and expenses be paid out of my estate.
2nd It is my will that all the residue of my property, except as herein provided, shall be given and devised to my wife, Caroline Finley Lyle, to be hers to use and dispose of in such manner as she may elect, during her lifetime. At her death it is my will that the residue of said estate shall be disposed of as follows:
To my brother William B.Lyle, Two Hundred Dollars, being for moneys advanced by him to us.
As my life Insurance policy in the Masonic Mutual is made payable equally to my said wife and to my son John H. Lyle, and my said son having paid the assessment on said policy for several years, it is my will that he be reimbursed (aside from his share) in a sum equal to the amount so paid out by him, from the other share in said policy.
It is my will that the remainder of my estate (if any) shall be divided equally between Isabella K. Hunt and my said son John H. Lyle.
I do hereby make and appoint my said wife Executor of this my last will and testament without bond.
