EZEKIEL M. MCDONALD, son of NANCY RUTH BUELL and JOSEPH EWING MCDONALD, was born in 1846, and died January 2, 1873 in St. Paul, Hennepin, Minnesota.⁶³³⁴ He is buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana.^{1239, 6335}

He married LYDIA P. TONSEY on July 23, 1867 in Marion County, Indiana.¹⁶⁷⁵

Death's Week

Last evening a brief telegram announced the death of Ezekiel M. McDonald, at St. Paul, Minnesota, where he went some months ago, hoping that the climate would reinvigorate his health. The deceased was the son of Hon. Joseph E. McDonald, of this city, and the son-in-law of George Tousey, Esq., President of the Indiana National Bank. He was a young man of industry and ability, a lawyer by profession, and by his many admirable qualities of head and heart had gathered around him warm friends, both in this State and Minnesota. The tenderest sympathy goes out to the widow and relatives in their terrible bereavement. The remains will be brought to this city for interment.
