E. Jean Barrett, 84, of Canal Fulton, died April 14, 2005 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Barrett was born in Spokane, Wash., later moving to Aurora, Ill., where she was a resident of Mooseheart (The Child City). She moved to Akron 66 years ago and retired from Roadway Express with 25 years of service.

Preceded in death by her husbands, Clayton Persons and Harry Barrett, also from Mooseheart; mother, Charlet Miller; sisters, Kay (Paul) Causeman, Larre (Sam) Baker; nephew, Jimmy Baker; granddaughter, Renae Kieffer; and son, John Patrick; she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Diann (Jim) Williard of Riverview, Fla., Debbie (Gene) Nelson of Franklin Twp.; son, Michael of Glendale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Bryan (Missy) Roberts of Parkersburg, W. Va., Buzz Kieffer of Hilton Head, S.C., Bran and Jennifer Nelson of Akron; great-grandchildren, Aimee and Ashley Nelson of Barberton (their mother, Marcie Farson); Jennifer, Jacob, Lindsey, and Sierra Roberts, all of Parkersburg, W. Va., and Cory of Jackson, Fla.; brothers, Louie (Gloria), Warren (Betty) Miller of Akron; special friends, Andy and Denny DiGeronomo of Akron; numerous nieces and nephews.
