BURNSVILLE — Edith M. Moore Bray Silver, 88, of Hunter Streed, died Thursday, June 27, 1996, in a Spruce Pine hospital.
A native of Yancey County, she was a duaghter of the late James C. and Indiana Silver McIntosh. She was preceded in death by her husbands, W. Sayre Moore, the Rev. Thomas W. Bray and J. Worth Silver. She was a retired employee of Belk's of Shelby.
Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth M. Sheets of Wilmington; son, Scotty Moore of Burnsville; stepson, Thomas C. Bray of Raleigh and William J. Bray of Ormond Beach, Fla.; sister, Ruth M. Powell of Miami, Fla.; brother, Hubert McIntosh of Carolina Beach; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. Angela Gafford will officiate. Burial will be in McIntosh Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour before the services. At other times, the family will be at the home of Scotty Moore, 110 Swiss Ave.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
