He married IRENE HUSTON on December 21, 1911 in Winfield, Cowley, Kansas,⁸⁹⁴⁸ daughter of LAURA HARTZEL and GEORGE T. HUSTON. She was born August 10, 1884,⁴⁵⁶ and died November 13, 1933.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Arkansas City, Cowley, Kansas.⁴⁵⁶
