Donald C. Mumma

Donald C. Mumma, 81, of 137 Broadway, died Thursday at the Colton Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of Harry and Alice Clevidence Mumma.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and retired from Schindel and Rohrer Co. after 50 years of employment. He was also a member of Fountain Head Country Club and was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Munn Mumma; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Covell of Easton, Md.; one son, William F. Mumma of Hagerstown; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home on N. Potomac Street. The Rev. Robert E. Mohr and the Rev. Wilson P. Ard, D.D. will officiate.

Burial will be in Rest Haven cemtery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home at any time today.

The omission of flowers is requested and contributions may be made to the Community Rescue Service.
