Mrs. Iona Pyle McLear, of 2831 Central, wife of Mr. Rex V. McLear, stepmother of Mr. Forest McLear, cousin of Mrs. Pearl Taylor, passed away Thursday. Graveside service Saturday afternoon, 1:30 o'clock at the Earlham Cemetery, Richmond, Ind. Friends may call at FLANNER and BUCHANAN FALL CREEK MORTUARY after 4 p.m. Friday. Rex V. McLear Dies Of Wound

Rex V. McLear, 59 years old, 2831 Central Avenue, died at 1:45 p.m. yesterday in Marion County General Hospital of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his right temple, police said.

According to police, McLear was found about 10 a.m. yesterday at his home in a chair in the kitchen with a .32-caliber revolver in his hand.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Flanner and Buchanan Mortuary.
