Betty May Hoffman, widow of Orrin Frances Hoffman, beloved mother of Judith Hoffman, Jill Hoffman-De Witt (husband Bill) and Rick Hoffman (wife Velanda) passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. She was 89 years old.
Betty is also survived by her grandchildren, Patrick Hoffman, Kim De Witt-Gailbraith (husband Pat), Bill De Witt (wife Carolyn) and Mat De Witt (wife Julie). She had nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Betty was born to Bill and Leone Ricks in Burley, Idaho on July 11, 1922. She lived her younger years in Westwood, California where she met and married her childhood sweetheart, Orrin Hoffman. Betty and Orrin also lived in Mt. Shasta and moved to Lincoln in 1956.
She died peacefully in Lincoln, surrounded by her loving family.
