War Record: In February, 1918, was appointed special expert, Division of Planning and Statistics, U. S. Shipping Board, Washington, D. C.; in March, 1918, was appointed New York representative of this division to serve with Shipping Control Committee; in September, 1918, was appointed special representative of War Trade Board with Shipping Control Committee. In March, 1919, resigned above offices, and in May, 1919, appointed assistant to Vice Chairman, U. S. Shipping Board. On September 10, 1919, resigned this office.
