BELMONT, Mass., June 19—Announcement has been made of the engagement of Miss Amelie Sigourney, daughter of Henry L. Sigourney of this place and of Mrs. Alfred G. Kellog of Boston, to Douglas Channing Scott, son of Donald Scott of Huntington, L. I., and Cambridge, Mass., and the late Mrs. Channing Eustis Scott.
The prospective bride is a granddaughter of Mrs. Henry Sigourney of Boston and Nahant, Mass. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George J. Putnam of Boston. Miss Sigourney was graduated from the Buckingham School in Cambridge, Mass., and is a member of the class of '38 at Radcliffe. She is a sister of Mrs. John Wooldredge of Marblehead, Mass.; of Mrs. Frank W. Knowlton Jr. of Brookline, Mass., and of Henry Sigourney of Belmont.
Mr. Scott was graduated from the Berkshire School and in 1935 from Harvard.

Kellogg of Beacon st., became the bride yesterday afternoon of Mr. Douglas Channing Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Scott of Cambridge and Lloyd Neck, Huntington, L. I. THe bride carried gardenias and lilies of the valley. The ceremony took place at 4 o'clock in Christ Church, which was decorated with Spring flowers. Rev. C. Leslie Glenn officiated. A reception followed at the parish house.
Mrs.. John Wooldredge (Louise Sigourney) of Marblehead Neck and Mrs. Frank W. Knowlton Jr. (Helene Sigourney) of Selkirk drive, Brookline, were their sister's only attendants, wearing Empire gowns of flame marquisette with natural leghorn hats, bound with a ribbon of deeper flame. The carried delphinium and gerbera.
Mr. Donald Scott Jr. was best man for his brother and the ushers included Mr. John Gray and Mr. Sherwood L. Washburn, both of Cambridge; Mr. Herbert Stevens of Wellesley, Mr. Clement Scott Jr. of Hartford, Conn.; Mr. W. Ogilvie Comstock and Mr. Frank W. Knowlton Jr., both of Brookline, and Mr. John Wooldredge of Marblehead Neck.
After a wedding trip to England and Norway Mr. Scott and his bride are to live at 49 East 86th st., New York. Mr. Scott was graduated from Harvard in 1935. His bride was graduated from Radcliffe this June.

CONCORD, Mass., April 22—The marriage of Mrs. Priscilla Spalding Zacher to Douglas Channing Scott, both of West Hartford, took place here this afternoon. The Rev. Arthur Jellis performed the ceremony in the First Parish Unitarian Church.
Mrs. Scott is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cushing Spalding of Lowell. Her previous marriage was terminated by divorce.
Mr. Scott, owner of Scott Plastics in Hartford, is the son of Donald Scott of Cambridge, Emeritus Peabody Professor of Archaeology and Ethenology at Harvard University, and the late Mrs. Channing Eustis Scott of Milton.
The bridegroom's former marriage ended in divorce.

SCOTT. Douglas Channing Scott, of South Glastonbury, formerly of Farmington, died Saturday (Sept. 13, 1997), at an area nursing home. He was born in 1912 in New York City, son of the late Donald and Mary Channing Eustis Scott. He was the stepson of the late Louise Smith Scott and the brother of Donald Scott, Jr. He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Scott of West Hartford, Carol McClennen of Holliston, MA and Susan Burke of Natick, MA. He was the husband of Priscilla Spalding Scott and stepfather of David, of West Hartford and Richard Zacher of Marlborough. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. He was a graduate of the Berkshire School and Harvard University, Class of 1935. He was the owner of Scott Plastics Co., of Hartford and was active in the greater Hartford community. He was formerly President of the Y.M.C.A. Camp Woodstock, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hartford Y.M.C.A., a Regent of the University of Hartford, a Trustee of the Bushnell Memorial, secretary of the Borough of Fenwick, a corporator of the Institute of Living, and of the Watkinson School and a Trustee of Renbrook School. He was an active participant in the CARE Program and kept on-going contact with recipients throughout his life. During his retirement, he and his wife greatly enjoyed world travel and developing friendships in the countries they visited. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Habitat for Humanity Program at the Congregational Church in South Glastonbury. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, Sept. 20, 1997 in the Congregational Church of South Glastonbury. There are no calling hours. The Glastonbury Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Amelie (Sigourney) Scott, 84, of West Hartford, died Sunday, (January 27, 2002) at the Hughes Convalescent Home in West Hartford. She was born in Dedham, MA, and she had graduated from Radcliffe College in 1938, and lived in West Hartford since 1940. She was a member of the Connecticut Colonial Dames, The Hartford Golf Club and St. John's Church, West Hartford. She enjoyed golf, travel and photography. She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy C. Scott of West Hartford, Carol S. McClennen of Holliston, MA, and Susan S. Burke of Marlborough, MA. She also leaves six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A Memorial service for family and friends who knew Mrs. Scott is planned for Saturday, February 2, at the McAuley in West Hartford at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours. Priscilla (Spalding) Scott, 87, of Glastonbury, widow of the late Douglas C. Scott, died Thursday, (March 21, 2002) in Hartford Hospital. Born November 14, 1914 in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late Arthur C. and May E. Spalding, she was a graduate of Rogers Hall School in Lowell and Connecticut College in 1936. She was a former President of Hartford YWCA from 1967-1970, and Chair person of their Building Committee. She was a former member of the Board of Directors of the United Way; former Chair of the Parent Council and Trustee of Renbrook School. She volunteered for many years at Uconn Health Center Information Desk. She was a former member of Connecticut Valley Garden Club and Town and Country Club, former resident of West Hartford and Farmington. She leaves her two sons and their wives, David and Nancy Zacher of West Hartford; Richard and Linda Zacher of Marlborough; three daughters, Nancy Scott of West Hartford, Carol and Walter McClennen of Holliston, MA and Susan Burke of Marlborough. She also leaves nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; and several cousins. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 6, 10:30 a.m. in the Congregational Church of South Glastonbury. A reception will be held in the social hall following the service.
