Gladys L. Stambaugh

Gladys L. Stambaugh, 76, 116 E. Keller St., Mechanicsburg, died Thursday in Seidle Memorial Hospital.

She was a retired employee of the Mechanicsburg naval Supply Depot and a member of Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Mechanicsburg Senior Citizens, NARFE Chapter 1816, and the American Association of Retired Persons.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence G. Stambaugh; one daughter, Margaretta G. Miller, Mechanicsburg; one sister, Margaret Yohn, Dillsburg; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were to be held today at 11 a.m. in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Dillsburg, with the Rev. Don Potter officiating. Burial will be in Dillsburg Cemetery.

Lawrence G. Stambaugh

Graveside services for Lawrence G. Stambaugh, 84, of 116 E. Keller St., Mechanicsburg, were held at 10 a.m. this morning in Dillsburg Cemetery.

He died Thursday in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.

Born July 23, 1909, in Perry County, he was a son of the late W. Elmer and Lula Smith Stambaugh. He was the widower of Gladys L. Gasswint Stambaugh.

He was a retired custodial supervisor for the State Capitol, Harrisburg. He was a member of Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church.

He also was a member of Mechanicsburg American Legion Post 109 and Mechanicsburg Senior Citizen Center.

Surviving are his daughter, Margretta G. Miller of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Cocklin Funeral Home, Dillsburg, was in charge of arrangements.
