Jonas S. Stambaugh

NASHVILLE, Jan. 12.—Jonas S. Stambaugh, a retired farmer, was found dead in bed this morning. His dad body was found by Miss Lydia Taylor, who nursed him. Death was caused by acute bronchitis from which he suffered for a few days. He was 95 years old. Mr. Stambaug's housekeeper, Mrs. Alice Becker, also is confined to bed by grip. He leaves no immediate relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Brief services will be held at the Stambaugh home after which concluding services will be at Christ Lutheran church, Jackson township. The Rev. Fred S. Geesey, pastor of the Muhlenberg Lutheran charge, the Rev. Edward V. Strasbaugh, pastor of the Paradise Reformed charge, will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.
