DAN CUPID CUTS SOME QUEER CAPERS

Miss Olga Tickotter and Mr. Ealen W. Stanley of Hoyt, Kansas, Married at Home of Bride's Parents in This City.

Last evening a very simple and pretty home wedding was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Tickotter, in the north portion of this city, when their daughter, Miss Olga, was united in the bonds of holy wedlock to Mr. Ealen W. Stanley of Hoyt, Kansas. For the happy event the rooms of the home were decorated very tastefully with holly and Christmas decorations, making a most charming setting for the happy event. Holly wreaths and streamers were draped from the chandeliers and windows of the different rooms.

Promptly at 8 o'clock the young people entered the parlor and took their station before Rev. J. H. Steger, pastor of the St. Paul's Evangelical church, who in a most impressive manner joined the lives and hearts of these two happy young people for life. The bride was gowned most charmingly in a costume of white Georgette crepe trimmed with all-over lace, carrying a bouquet of bride's roses and a headdress of roses. The groom was attired in the customary dark suit.

Following the wedding the bridal party were entertained at a most charmingly arranged wedding luncheon, which was served by Mrs. Tickotter, mother of the bride and Mrs. D. W. Stanley, of Hoyt, Kansas, mother of the groom. THe table was very prettily arranged with decorations of pink and white roses and made a very pretty and artistic appearance, which was in keeping of the happy occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Stanly will leave tomorrow for their future home at Hoyt, Kansas, where the groom has just completed a new home to shelter his bride on his farm near that place.

The bride is one of the most charming daughters of Plattsmouth and was born and reared in this city, where she has won a host of warm friends by her pleasant and genial disposition, and while she will be sadly missed from the circle of her friends, she takes with her in her new home their best wishes for a long and happy married life and one that is free from care and sorrow.

The groom is quite well known in this city, where he spent some time as a student here in the Plattsmouth Business college, and is a young man of the highest character and industry and has been engaged for a number of years in farming in Kansas, where his family is one of the most prominent at that section of the state where they have resided for a great many years, and he is to be congratulated on securing such a charming helpmate to assist him in the years to come. May their happiness increase as the years roll by and their married life be as calm and happy as both of these worthy young people well deserve.
