Keith Stetler

Lancaster Township

Keith Stetler of Lancaster Township died at 5:05 a.m. March 14 at Leader Whitehall, Lancaster. He was 79.

Mr. Stetler retired in 1986 after more than 30 years as an automobile dealer and former owner of Stetler Automobile Co., Lancaster.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Born in Newberrtyown, Feb. 12, 1917, he was a son of the late Daniel E. and Ruth Hays Stetler Sr.

He leaves his wife, Doris J. Faircloth Stetler; two sons, Donald L. Stetler, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and K. Thomas Stetler, York; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and four brothers, Elvan Stetler, Daniel Stetler, Wade Stetler and Harlan Stetler, all of York.

Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. tomorrow at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road. The service is at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral chapel.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research.

Doris Jean Stetler, 71, York homemaker

Doris Jean Faircloth Stetler, 71, of York, formerly of Lancaster, died Wednesday at Autumn House East, York, of natural causes.

A homemaker Mrs. Stetler was the wife of the late Keith Stetler.

Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Catherine Hoke Faircloth.

Survivors include two sons, Donald L. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and K. Thomas of York; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Geraldine Flohr of York.
