He married EDNA ELIZABETH LEARN on January 1, 1935,¹⁰⁷⁵⁶ daughter of VERNA MCCOLLISTER and LEWIS JAMES LEARN. She was born June 29, 1913 in Corydon, Warren, Pennsylvania,⁴⁵³² and died April 2, 2002.⁴⁵³²

Announcement has been made of the marriage on January 1, of Philip Tome and Miss Edna Learn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Learn, of this place. They are both popular young people and well known locally, where their many friends are extending congratulations and wishing them much happiness. They will reside here where they have a furnished apartment in the Ira Williams home.
