WASHOUGAL, Nov. 6—(Special) — Mis Marjorie Earline Wren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs W. E. Wren, became the bride of Francis J. Vail, son of Mrs. Gertrude Vail, at candle-light ceremonies performed at the Elmer Clark Residence Thursday evening. Rev. O.N. Blair, of Portland, great uncle of the bride, performed the ceremonies.
The bride was dressed in white and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Miss Jenny Wren, sister of the bride, Miss Gwen Whitmore and Miss Mary Vail were bridesmaids. They were dressed in pastel colors. Vernon Campen was best man and Clyde Cross was ushers. Miss Marie Stubblefield sang as vocal solos "O Promise Me," and "I Love You Truly." Wedding cake and refreshments were served after the ceremonies.
Mr. and Mrs. Vail went on their honeymoon trip to Walla Walla, where they will visit friends and relatives.

VAIL, Francie "Bud" (Age 92) - Passed away on October 6, 2005 in Spokane. Bud was bron on August 30, 1912 in Apache, OK. He married Marjorie Earline Wren on November 2, 1933 in Washougal, WA. He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Lee Vail, and great-grandson, Donnie Vail. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many other caring family members and friends, neighbors and his pastors, Mary and David Thompson. Mr. Vail joined the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933 and served as a mechanic and truck driver. He was a magnificent storyteller and loved telling stories of his early days in Oklahoma and a trip to Washington State in the 1920s. He spoke with pride of his time working on dams for the BPA and as a Caterpillar heavy equipment repairman. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane.
