Miss Elizabeth Vawter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Vawter, was married to Mr. William E. Clark at Marshall, Thursday morning at 11:30 o'clock. The groom is the manager of the Marshall and Slater exchanges of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., and as he has made numerous visits to Slater on company business during the last two years he has made many friends here.
Following the marriage, Mr. and Mrs. CLark came to Slater on the noon train, and left on No. 21 for Kansas City. After a short trip they will be at home temporarily with the bride's parents, at 314 Eastwood, Marshall.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur T. Vawter announce the marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Clark, to Harold B. Weilein of Denver, Colorado, on Saturday, March ?, in the Post Chapel at Fitzsimons Army Hospital. M/Sgt. and Mrs. Weilein, who are both employed at the hospital in Denver, will make their home there for the present.
Attendants at the wedding were Virginia Michael Hart, formerly of Marshall, and M/Sgt. McClenny Langford of the hospital staff.

William E. L. Clark, 70, of 3721 Broadway, died Monday at Veterans' hospital. He was born in Moberly, Mo., and lived here 38 years. Mr. Clark was a retired employee of the sales department of Kansas City Power & Light Co. Surviving are two sons, William L. Clark, Los Angeles, and Theodore A. Clark, Orange, Calif., and 10 grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday at the Newcomer chapel, Brush Creek and the Paseo; cremation. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the American Cancer society.
