ANDERSON — James Lewis Wheelock, 89, of Anderson died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at Rehab Specialties Inn in Anderson.
No services will be conducted.
Born June 4, 1908, in Lovelock, Nev., he moved to Shasta County in 1960 from Hamilton City.
He was a carman for Western Pacific Railroad in Westwood.
Survivors include wife Elsie; sons Gerald of Anderson and James of Tracy; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.

ANDERSON — Elsie Virginia Wheelock, 87, of Anderson died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at Shasta Healthcare in Redding.
No services will be conducted.
Born Dec. 6, 1914, in Merrill, Ore., she moved to Shasta County in 1960 from Hamilton City.
She was a homemaker, a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, a member of the Eagles Club in Orland and a member of the reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Anderson.
Survivors include sons James of Stockton and Gerald of Anderson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson.
