Nana Bancroft
Nana Bancroft, 87, Springfield, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday in Northside Nursing Center after a long illness.
Except for several years in Cuba, Mrs. Bancroft lived most of her life in Springfield. She was a registered nurse for 60 years and worked for Springfield Baptist Hospital and St. John's Regional Health Center. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church.
Survivors include two step-daughters, Lucy Brownfield, Blue Springs, and Mary Ann Rudolph, Christiansburg, Va.; and a niece.
