CAROLINE R. YOUNG, daughter of MARY BROWN and JAMES HARVEY YOUNG, was born January 28, 1835 in Ohio,⁶¹⁹ and died March 24, 1909 in Jefferson, Preble, Ohio.⁶¹⁹ She is buried in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, Preble, Ohio.⁶¹⁹

PIONEER WOMAN OF NEW PARIS IS DEAD

MISS CAROLINE YOUNG, AGED 74, DIES AT NEIGHBORING OHIO CITY.

New Paris, O., March 25.—Miss Caroline Young, one of the pioneer women of this vicinity, died at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Young, on Wednesday at 11 a. m., aged 74 years. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church, always being in attendance when in health. The funeral will occur from the residence on Friday afternoon. Burial in Springlawn cemetery.
