Mrs. S[olomon] A. ZARTMAN, 75, passed away Saturday night at her home seven miles southeast of this city. Death resulted from complications following an illness of several weeks.

Elizabeth (PLATTER) ZARTMAN was born December 30, 1864, in Defiance county, O. She was the daughter of Jacob and Suzanna (SHUMAN) PLATTER. On October 30, 1883, she was united in marriage with S[olomon] A. ZARTMAN. With the exception of one year in Kansas practically all of Mrs. Zartman's married life was spent in Fulton and Miami counties.

Survivors are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Frank MUSSELMAN of near Macy; Mrs. Vernon BURNS of near Rochester; two sons, F. J. ZARTMAN of Ft. Wayne; Myron ZARTMAN of Peru; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Emily BARRETT, of Fulton, Mich.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock at the home, three miles east of Mt. Zion. Rev. Daniel SLAYBAUGH will be in charge. Intennent will be trade in the Plainview cemetery near Macy.

Funeral services will be held Monday at Macy for Simon Augustus ZARTMAN, 78, retired farmer who died Friday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Vernon BURNS.

Mr. Zartman had been ill three years. Death was caused by a complication of ailments.

He was born in Miami county and spent his entire life in or near Macy except for 15 years during which he resided in Fulton county. He was the son of Solomon and Nellie ZARTMAN. He was married on Oct. 30, 1883 to Elizabeth PLATTER, who preceded him in death.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Frank MUSSELMAN and Mrs. BURNS, at whose home he died: two sons, Ferdie [ZARTMAN] and Myron [ZARTMAN] of Beloit, Wis., 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The body will be taken to the home of Mrs. Frank Musselman from the Kine funeral home at Denver on Sunday at noon. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. Daniel SLAYBAUGH of Akron in charge. Burial will be made in the Macy cemetery.

Frank D. MUSSELMAN, 73, life resident of the Macy community, died at his home three and one-half miles northeast of Macy at 2 a.m. today. He had been in failing health the last four years and suffered a heart attack two weeks ago which contributed to his death.

Mr. Musselman was a registered pharmacist and in his early life operated a drug store in Macy. Most of his life he was a farmer. He was a member of the Macy Christian church.

Born Nov. 6, 1874, to William and Priscilla (FOOR) MUSSELMAN, Frank Musselman married Maud ZARTMAN in Macy in 1901. He lived all his life in the same home.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lepha SMITH of Indianapolis, Mrs. Opal SAVAGE of Macy and Mrs. Lova POWELL of Rochester; two sons, Dr. Glenn MUSSELMAN of Terre Haute and Donald MUSSELMAN of Rochester; two brothers, S. H. MUSSELMAN of Macy and Harvey MUSSELMAN of Hartford City, and fourteen grandchildren.

Services will be conducted in the Macy Christian church at 2 p.m. Tuesday and burial will be in Plainview cemetery in Macy. The body will be taken from the Zirnmerman Brothers funeral home to the residence Sunday morning.

Maude Estelle MUSSELMAN, 75, of near Macy, died at 11:35 a.m. today at the Miller nursing home here, where she had been a patient for over three years. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Born May 17, 1884, near Macy, she was the daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth PLATTER ZARTMAN. She was married in October, 1901, to Frank D. MUSSELMAN, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Musselman had spent her entire life in this community, living in Rochester five years. She was a member of the Macy Christian church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Sam (Lepha) SMITH, Indianapolis; Mrs. Ronald (Lova) POWELL, Rochester, and Mrs. Kenneth (Opal) SAVAGE, Macy; two sons, William Donald MUSSELMAN, Warsaw, and Dr. Glenn G. MUSSELMAN, Terre Haute; two brothers, Ferdie ZARTMAN, Florida, and Myron ZARTMAN, Beloit, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Vernon BURNS, Rochester.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home.
