Dorothy F. Ellington

Dorothy F. Ellington, 69, resident of Oak Ride Convalescent Center, died Monday evening at Reid Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.

She was a native of Laurel and had lived in Richmond most of her life. She was a former employee of Kenart Studios. Her husband, Troy Ellington, died in 1969.

There are no immediate survivors.

Funeral service for Dorothy F. Ellington will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Stegall-Berheiide-Orr Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lynn R. Morey officiating. Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
