Thomas R. Schroder

SHERMAN — Thomas R. Schroder, 70, of Stedman Road, died at 8 a.m. Saturday (July 18, 1964) at his home.

He was born in Mina Township Dec. 19, 1893, the son of Andrew and Phoebe Sears Schroder.

He was a veteran of World War I and a retired carpenter.

Survivors are two sons, Lewis Schroder of Sherman; and Thomas R. Schroder, Jr., of Fort Knox, Ky.; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Davis and Mrs. Alice VanDewark of Sherman; Mrs. Dorothy Wright and Mrs. Miriam Wright of Edinboro, Pa.; Mrs. Florence Seekins of Walkerton, Ind.; and Miss Marjorie Schroder of Meadville, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; one brother, Harold Schroder, Lakewood, Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Stebbins of Findley Lake.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman. The Rev. Everett Spring, pastor of the North Harmony Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mina Cemetery.

FUNERAL OF MAY SCHRODER

The funeral of May Lillian Schroder was held Wednesday afternoon from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Schroder, 32 VanBuren street. Rev. Dr. T. R. Courtice, pastor of the First M. E. church officiated. The bearers were Harold Erickson and Grant Batson. The interment was in Lake View cemetery. From out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Will Batson, Mrs. Phoebe Schroder and Mr. and Mrs. Ella Schroder all of Sherman.
