PONTIAC.—(PNS)—Miss Marjorie Street, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Street, of near Pontiac and Henry L. Legner, son of Henry Legner, were married Thursday at 2:30 p. m. by the Rev. O. H. Boening at the Lutheran parsonage.
Miss Deloris Street, sister of the bride and Harold Legner, brother of the bridegroom attended the couple.
The bride wore a navy blue dress with navy and white accessories and had red roses for her coursage. Her sister also wore navy blue with cherrycoke colored accessories and had yellow roses for her corsage.
The bride was a graduate of Pontiac High school and Illinois State Normal university. She had taught the Ocoya school for the past five years. Mr. Legner was a graduate from the Odell High school. He served in the army air corps during the war and is now employed by the Sinclair Refining company.
After a wedding trip the couple will reside in an apartment at 303 West Lincoln street.

PONTIAC - Marjorie A. Legner, 85, Pontiac, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 15, 2007) at ASTA Care Center, Pontiac.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, Pontiac, with the Rev. William H. Beswick officiating. Burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Pontiac. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac. The family suggests memorials be made to Pontiac American Legion Auxiliary or Pontiac VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Marjorie was born Oct. 10, 1921, at Pontiac, a daughter of Delmar and Rose Russell Street. She married Henry "Hank" Legner on Aug. 15, 1946, at Pontiac. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Legner, Pontiac, and Timothy (Lisa) Legner, Bloomington; one daughter, Sandra (Mike) Henry, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Legner, Pontiac; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter in infancy and one sister.
Marjorie was educated in country schools and was a 1939 graduate of Pontiac High School. She received her associate degree in education from Illinois State Normal University in 1941. She later received her bachelor of arts from Illinois State in 1974. Marjorie taught school for seven years in country schools and later at Lincoln School in Pontiac for 26 years.
Marjorie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Pontiac. She was a member of the Church Circle, American Legion Auxiliary, Pontiac VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Alpha Delta Kappa teaching sorority, Retired Teachers Association, Pontiac Athena Club and Pontiac Woman's Club.
