Mrs. Alden was Miss Helen Winsor, 16-year-okd daughter of Mrs. Florence Winsor of Plymouth, Mass., until last Tuesday morning when she was married to Mr. Alden at the home of a minister in Greenwich, Conn. Mr. Alden is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willaim A. Alden, 945 Fourteenth avenue south, Minneapolis, and a student at Powder Point academy near Plymouth. The newlyweds arrived in Minneapolis Friday and left yesterday for Ely, Minn., their summer home, to spend their honeymoon. Mr. Alden is a direct descendant of the John Alden of Pilgrim fame who went to Priscilla as an emissary of Miles Standish. The "Priscilla" of the modern story, who is a direct descendant herself of Governor William Bradford of the Mayflower, said yesterday that in this case the "John Alden" was an emissary for himself.

Mr. Laurens A. Williams of 41 Fifth Avenue and Mrs. Helen W. Winsar, of 45 Prospect Place, were married in the Municipal Chapel. Mr. Williams was born in Bethlehem, Pa., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward H. J. Williams. His first marriage was terminated by divorce at Reno on July 1, 1929. Mrs. Alden was born in Medford, Mass., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Winsar. Her first marriage also ended in divorce.

SCARSDALE, N. Y., DEC. 11—Mrs. Helen Winsor Williams, a former buyer in the New York office of the T. Eaton Company, Ltd. of Canada, department stores and mail-order concern, died of a heart attack Monday in White Plains. She was 66 years old and lived at 235 Garth Road.
Mrs. Williams retired six years ago after working for Eaton 18 years. She was also a former resident buyer for Marshall Field & Co. of Chicago. She was first married to the late John Bowen Alden, and her later marriage, to Laurens Williams, ended in divorce.
Surviving are a daughter by her first marriage, Mrs. Jacqueline Alden Wilke; a brother, William P. Winsor, and two grandsons.
